We have chosen to place our main focus on design/build construction as our area of expertise. In fact, of our work currently in house, over 80% are design/build or design/assist contracts. Design build is the preferred method of construction because a construction amount can be given at the project conception and remain through project completion, owners have immediate access to mechanical costs, scope changes are adjusted dollar for dollar, and it provides an overall faster design process.
Our design/build services are focused on providing the best possible, value-engineered design for our clients. We have become extremely proficient at interpreting RFPs and providing an appropriate design and proposal that results in many wins for our team.

BIM is an integrated process for exploring a project’s key physical and functional characteristics digitally, before it’s built. With BIM solutions, the ICS team along with the balance of the project team can deliver projects faster and more economically, while minimizing environmental impact. Using the BIM process vastly improves our project understanding prior to field execution allowing for more predictable outcomes in the field. This increased visibility enables the entire project design build team to stay coordinated, improve field accuracy, reduce waste and allow the owner to make informed decisions earlier in the process. Our track record using BIM is gaining solid ground and with each project completed we have gained further knowledge and insight into the successful delivery of projects using BIM.
Today’s construction environment demands high quality at lower costs, and often times is expected to be accomplished under an accelerated schedule. ICS continuously adapts our construction methods allowing us to remain competitive in the current market. We have been fine-tuning our prefab capabilities and over the years have been able to fully standardize the process. Being able to build in a lab-style environment, free of jobsite distractions and/or dangers, allows us to construct, test, and adjust all prefabricated items prior to labeling and shipping to the jobsite. ICS’ Commissioning/Startup Department was created in 2017 with the vision of providing our clientele the best overall HVAC system installation. We are able to do so by assuring all systems and components are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the owner while also assisting the Commissioning Authority with their processes. Commissioning is a systematic process that addresses any issues in the system. It facilitates and ensures the required communication, coordination, testing, and verification, and results in the delivery of a building whose HVAC systems perform as intended. Effective HVAC commissioning is an intentional, visible, cooperative and proactive process. This process begins when ICS is awarded a project and becomes proactively involved with all upcoming phases.
